Snowy mountain summits, perfect pistes and above them a beautiful blue winter sky. Added to this, happy children’s laughter and long sunny days. Yes, this family holiday is really fun! What sounds like a picture-book winter’s day is not at all unusual here in Maranza, which enjoys a fabulous 280 days of sunshine per year with many, many of them falling in the cotton-soft snowy season of the year. And when, outside in front of the windows the first snowflakes of the year are dancing, here with us all the signs point to fun on the slopes and in the snow at the Alpenhof children’s hotel. So, what else is there to do but grab your skis, snow disks and toboggans!

Just 2 minutes by shuttle from the Alpenhof is a family ski resort to suit every requirement: a fantastic 55 km of slopes ranging from easy to challenging, magnificent mountain panoramas, over 500 peaks and pure alpine romance. Added to this is unlimited tobogganing fun - for example on the fantastic Brimi Winter Run natural toboggan track, family hikes offering amazing winter views and natural experiences that couldn’t be lovelier. Sounds good, doesn't it?

Free ski shuttle

Quick as a flash to the slopes with the free ski shuttle, which runs daily from 9 am to 4 pm between the Alpenhof and the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski resort.
Kids’ ski taxi

While you conquer the slopes in the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski resort, we take the little ski slope heroes safely to their skiing lessons and pick them back up again. Back in the hotel our childcare assistants await, with a joint lunch and creative play fun in the Happy Club.
