How about an exciting day exploring in nature in one of the three family parks in our Gitschberg-Jochtal alpine region? A summer on the mountain - it doesn't just mean hiking and counting squirrels. Quite the opposite! In the beautifully designed family adventure parks adventures in nature, jaunty freedom and lots of exercise await. There’s something to suit every member of the family. Mum and dad can relax with the mountain views and the little explorers can eagerly discover the different attractions - all of them made for interactively and playfully exploring the South Tyrolean pastures and mountains.
lGitschberg Sun Park
Creatively designed sun-themed adventure park with panoramic circular hike, which can also be easily managed by little feet or with a buggy. Play attractions: two giant slides, kids’ cable car, climbing igloo, lookout with telescope, sundial, sun throne and much more.
Start: right by the Nesselbahn mountain station at 2,113 metres above sea level.
Destination: Gitschhütte with large playground and giant trampoline

The numerous play attractions are located along easy, pushchair-friendly hiking trails that lead to the Stone Man viewing platform. Not to be missed: water park with raft, glockenspiel in the forest, various climbing facilities, Ochsenalm with petting zoo, and much more.
Start: Jochtal mountain restaurant with cable car swing and giant trampoline at 2,008 metres above sea level
Destination: Stoanermandl (Stone Man) panoramic platform
